Performance theater built from the poems written by children in the Primary Schools in Creative Writing Workshops organized by Astro Fingido in Porto schools and libraries. The show could be called The pupil of peacocks but we always eared something like screams!

«We read a poem by Ruy Belo that “no one knows walk down the street as children/for them is always a novelty.” New forbidden to adults, because in them the innocence gave way to experience, and childhood has become a mythical time, distant and lost. Children have the ability to look at things, even the most familiar, as if they were looking for the first time, and this first look after inhabits his words, still unspent daily newspaper and used routine. So perplex us so much. Who never left surprised by the “wisdom” of children, or clarify in its “absurd” logic? But as the surprise is the sister of novelty when we adults have heard the words of children, it is as if we heard these words for the first time. Perhaps then be given to us, briefly, walking on the street as children only know and hear how they only hear the “cry of the peacocks”.»
